Each year children build on their skills and understanding across a range of media. Using finger and handprints, to using objects to print, progressing to making their own printing blocks and stencils for fabric and paper. The use of flour batik in years 3 and 4 to the use of wax batik in year 5 and 6. Fabric collage in the early years and reception, later on they experience weaving and sewing as well as the opportunity to combine the techniques they have learned to create mixed media pieces.
