Learning Hub

Hi! Welcome to our new website!

I will continue to share some of our learning here.

In science this half term, we are learning about solids, liquids and gases. We have had fun doing lots of experiments including melting chocolate and ice.

In topic, we have been learning about food and the environment. We all loved sharing food from our culture to begin our topic and we enjoyed our trip to Sainsburys to investigate food miles.

We had great fun at our yoga workshop yesterday!

We had a lovely time sharing books with nursery on World Book Day.

As we approach the end of the Spring term, I thought it would be nice to share some learning. We have had a lot of fun this term and I'm sure everyone is looking forward to a well earned break!

In topic we have learnt about The Anglo-Saxons and The Vikings. One of our highlights was making Viking houses in our DT. Below are some pictures of our final products. We have even being doing a Viking dance in PE.

In Science we have complete d a lot of practical activities to help us learn about our teeth and digestion. Look at the pictures and see if you can work out what is going on. We tested how different drinks affect our teeth, we thought about the function of each tooth and we investigated what happens in the digestive system.

Enjoy the photos and we look forward to seeing you all on April 20th.

We have had a busy start to the Summer term and are all enjoying the better weather (when it appears!)

We loved going to the Science Museum and are greatly looking forward to going to The Horniman Museum too. It was great to get out and about. Here are a few pictures from the day.

We had such a fantastic day at the Horniman Museum, finding out more about The Kingdom of Benin.

We had great fun making our Benin Bronzes using clay.

We've had a lot of fun so far this term learning about our topic, Oceans.

What a fantastic day we had at Herne Hill Velodrome and playing rounders in the park.
